Why Become an Airtightness Tester?
You will become a highly skilled professional who assess the airtightness of new build properties & existing dwellings.

Why is the Air Tightness Report Required?

An update to part L standards in Building Regulations on 15 th  June 2022 now means that every new build property requires an airtightness test, presenting a huge opportunity for those looking to get involved in this area of the industry. The airtightness test is usually one of the last assessments a property will undergo before it can be signed off by Building Control. In line with retrofit BVT, any fabric measure retrofit requires a ventilation strategy. The PULSE ATT will provide a detailed air permeability report to satisfy this requirement. Once you’ve completed your training course with Engage Training Academy, you can join one of the Competency Schemes. More on this during the comprehensive training.
